My Right Wing Agenda

Things don’t look so good in the US for the republicans today..  I just hope Palin can be the rabbit that is pulled out of the hat.  There is now only a month left and I’m concerned that a democrat will be president... according to FOX, for some time the collapse of Freddy and Fanny was down to the Clinton policy on ensuring low income higher risk people were given mortgages, considering that this was the basis of the credit crunch and then the consequent bank run, one wonders if another democrat would actually be able to fix it?  I suspect a more conservative fiscally responsible administration would be better suited to solve the problems.  Hey that statement would be just as valid over here.... an interesting side note in times of volatility Gold is a good resource and well funnily enough that would be now... but wait a minute didn’t brown sell all our Gold in the good times (when the price was low)... but then he doesn’t believe in fixing the roof when the sun shines does he?..   it’s more like putting a sheet of polythene on it when it rains (a lot) and hoping we don’t notice the drips!...
