Just had another full council, was less controversial than the last one, though the Libs decided to play politics with our (the councils) response to the RSS strategy. Both us and the Labour Party were amazed with this. It really was just grandstanding and will probably end up with them spinning some lies in there next leaflet.
I was going to make an intervention into the debate… but kinda missed the opportunity.. I’m still not totally au fait with the procedure yet… any how I wanted to make the point that whilst I support (as I voted) the councils response to the RSS.. I was looking forward to a change of government, where they trust the local politicians to make the right decisions for their area / people.. and not this top down dictation that we have had from this labour government over the last decade or so.
