Yesterday i went along to watch the Sheriff's Assize of Ale, this dates back to medieval times when the Sheriff was responsible for checking that the ale on sale in the City was of palatable quality.
We went around sevral pubs in the City Center, checking the Ale.
Here is a pick outside the Conservative Club, we even have pics of some Lib Dems drinking in the Club!!
