I'm starting not to be surprised.. every day almost (it feels like) we get another disaster for the Govt.. Today it sounds like they may back down on the Car Tax debacle.. It will be interesting to see what happens over the fuel tax issue, I remember that Tony managed to withstand the issue when it came against him. But I suspect Brown being weaker in leadership and more "dithery" might make a pressured last minute decision and compromise.. it almost goes without saying they will not increase duty by 2p this Oct....
