Bristol CF hustings

I went along to the CF hustings in Bristol, really with little clue who each of the candidates were. With conversations with CF piers I had an idea who I wanted to vote for, for chair. But I really had no idea about the exec. I was originally backing Michael Rock, I like his ideas of decentralising the events and action days. After all decentralization is a tory ideology.

On the day I felt that Matthew Richardson was the best speaker, seemed to have the sort of qualities you would expect for a chair. I think Daryl seemed to be the most qualified, I though Michaels speech was the weakest, it wasn't until the Q and A that Michael came through. So on the balance of things I am sticking with my original plan and supporting Michael Rock for chair.

It was good to see some of the Exec there, I think I will give all six who spoke a vote but out of the six four stood out and they will defiantly get a vote I'm not completely decided whether I'm casting six or four.

On the whole it was a good event and I'm glad I went. well done nick on creating such a successful event.. right down to the travel plans!!
